Three types of people.

I feel like there are three types of people in life. Those who care, those who don’t, and those that don’t know whether to care or not. At this point in life, I think I am someone that doesn’t know whether to care or not. What I mean by this is I really don’t know what is worth my energy or time. Like throughout daily life, you have all your different commitments and promises, which, if you are a decent person, you will fulfill unless, of course, something dire arises.  But where is the line you draw between something really being worthwhile and fulfilling or things that just keep you busy and don’t really add that much value to your life. That’s something I struggle with frequently. As someone who has always been “busy,” I am starting to want different in my life. Maybe not completely stepping away from all things I am involved in, but having one thing I pour most of my time into would be nice. It's hard to figure out where that balance lies because it's so easy to get caught up in the daily grind and feel like everything you do is important just because you're doing it. But I think the key is being intentional with your tie. Asking yourself what truly brings you joy or a sense of purpose. It doesn't have to be grand or life-changing every day, but having one area where you feel you’re making progress, growing, or contributing meaningfully can make the difference between feeling fulfilled and just feeling busy.

In the end, I think it's about finding clarity in your priorities. Sometimes, that might mean cutting out things that are simply keeping you occupied without really enriching your life, and that's okay. It’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what matters. And figuring that out takes time, but once you do, it feels like a huge weight lifted off your shoulders.
